This is an example where the Open Payment option has been used for the product: here a customer can choose the amount they wish to pay.

Some institutions use this to collect debt: the product is set as hidden from the Front End of the Store, but can be accessed by a link sent out to the customer by email.

PLEASE NOTE: In many cases, collection of donation payments will be better catered for by automating the process by means of a dedicated 'payment pathway' through which the customer can set up a direct debit or recurring card payments to be taken from their account on a regular basis.
